The
following websites offer information on German and European
programmes that offer funding to promote stays abroad for
vocational orientation and qualifications:
EURO PATHS aims to develop language learning
modules (DANISH and FINNISH) for two vocational fields (auto
mechanics and systems mechanics) that will coincide with the
learning needs of the participants involved in the vocational
training placements and the users. These language learning
modules will be made available online in the form of a digital
language course.
In addition to the technical content,
the language learning modules will also consider intercultural
aspects of the workplace in order to prepare the participants
for a smoother transition to living and working in the host
country. In the form of a travel journal, the language course
will guide the participants throughout the process of learning
the language and, at the same time, motivate them toward self-directed
learning.
Based on the stipulations of the "Common European Framework
of Reference for Languages," participants are to attain
language skills at the levels A1 and A2, which will be documented
in a portfolio corresponding to the EUROPASS. (see also: Course
